Videos of Our Tours Around Sydney
Watch videos of our Australian experiences
We come across some interesting things on our tours which are hopefully reflected on our Sydney tour videos. From naturescapes to cityscapes, birds and wild kangaroos, we hope you enjoy a little insight into our world.
Looking for wild kangaroos near Sydney
Here’s a great video of some curious wallabies approaching me near the Jenolan Caves on our Blue Mountains tour. One of the females has a young baby, called a joey, popping its head out of her pouch. The joey will normally emerge around 8 or 9 months of age.
Ride the skyway at Scenic World
“I’ll go if you go.” One of the big optional attractions on our private Blue Mountains tour is riding Scenic World's Skyway that dangles across the Jamison Valley. In the distance is Mt. Solitary and the Ruined Castle and below the gondola is a vast valley with good views of Katoomba Falls.
The world’s smallest penguin
Don’t be fooled by their size as the Little Penguin are smart and calculated and have over twenty different communicative calls.
A scavenging lyrebird
This video shows a mimicking lyrebird foraging for insects near Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains. These intellectual birds will copy the calls of a parrot, lorikeet, cockatoo, kookaburra, or even the wailing siren of a police car or a ringtone on your mobile phone. They’re incredible.
Sydney’s Surf Beaches
The winter swell on Sydney's eastern beaches has been great for surfing of late. Here's set after set at Tamarama Beach - the gorgeous beach near Bondi Beach that the locals call Glamarama. This is taken from a part of the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk that we cover on our Sydney and Bondi Beach Private Tour.
Pleasant walk in the Blue Mountains
A snippet of Australia’s flora in the ‘bush’.
